showing the influence of John Sleeper, it would be easy to mistake this plane as Sleeper's work, only looking at the maker mark on the nose proves it isn't Sleeper's work; in fine, unmolested condition, with original surface, steeply pitched iron, no other planemaker in America had a great style influence on surrounding makers as Sleeper did; bottom left:
